Trivia
What was the year when Astrodome hosted it's last major event?✨🤔 |

Houston and Fulshear See Major Population Booms
Houston is growing seriously fast, adding more than 43,000 new residents between July 2023 and July 2024-about 118 people every single day.
This makes Houston the second fastest-growing city in the country in terms of numbers, just behind New York City. The city’s population now sits at just over 2.39 million, and it’s still holding strong as the fourth-largest city in the U.S.
But it’s not just Houston making headlines. Fulshear, a suburb out in Fort Bend County, ranked No. 2 nationwide for fastest percentage growth, jumping an impressive 26.9% in the same year.
Fulshear’s population is now estimated at 54,629, with only Princeton, near Dallas, growing faster by percentage.
If you’ve noticed more traffic or new neighbors lately, you’re definitely not imagining things-southeast Texas is booming!

Texans Face Tough Start on 2025 Schedule
The Texans have a pretty rough opening to their 2025 season, kicking things off against the Los Angeles Rams on the road and then coming right back home to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers-both teams that won their divisions last year. That’s a tough way to start, especially with the Ravens lurking in Week 5, and it could mean Houston is staring down an 0-2 hole before they really get rolling. What do you think? Read more
Houston Man Sues Whataburger Over Onions
A Houston man is suing Whataburger for up to $1 million after he says a burger with onions-despite his request for none-caused him “serious personal injuries” due to his allergy. He claims just one bite triggered a reaction and forced him to seek medical help, and now Whataburger is pushing back, asking for strict proof of his claims. Interestingly, this isn’t his first rodeo-he filed a similar lawsuit against Sonic last year, so we’ll have to see how the courts sort it all out. Read More
