One City Centre Set for a Major Makeover with a $26.5 Million Transformation
Big changes are coming for One City Centre, the familiar office tower located near Main Street in downtown Houston.
The building is set to undergo a major renovation that will convert it into a residential complex with more than 550 apartments.
The project, which is expected to start next year, will also include corporate-style hotel suites, bringing a unique blend of living and working spaces to the heart of the city.
This $26.5 million transformation aims to breathe new life into the downtown area, especially as office vacancies have been on the rise.
Turning an aging office building into vibrant residences not only revitalizes the skyline but also helps create a livelier community with people living, working, and hanging out downtown.
It’s part of a bigger trend to rethink city center spaces and welcomes a fresh vibe to Houston’s urban living scene.
